Dressta dozers make light work of ship trimming applications and have become the preferred choice of ports throughout the world. The dozer is lowered into the vessel to trim the bulk and square off the hatch so that the wharf grabs can operate at full capacity.

These machines are equipped with a two-way blade designed to push and pull materials such as grains and fertilizer to the working area of the unloading grab. A range of features to help them excel in these environments.

Hydrostatic Steering

Dressta dozers are built with reliable hydrostatic steering, offering both flexible and precise handling in compact ship holding spaces. The hydrostatic functionality enables smooth steering at any engine speed and allows precise control when pushing or pulling materials.

Maximum Operator Comfort

All Dressta machines are built with efficient heating and air-conditioning systems to maintain the desired working temperature and allow the operator to work at ease, especially in the hot and dusty conditions often found in ship trimming applications.

Longevity

Dressta dozers’ ring-type sprockets distribute wear evenly over track bushings and are replaceable without removing the track frames. The Lubricated Track System (LTS) eliminates internal pin and bushing wear through the use of a patented seal assembly. The split master link reduces chain removal and installation time.

Rippers
Multi-shank (5/3) parallelogram rippers enable the compact crawler dozers to achieve the ripping performance of much larger models – 378mm for the TD-8S.

The TD-8S LT is powered by a diesel engine that delivers outstanding power & torque;

HYDRAULICS
A proven design tandem pump system & high capacity hydraulic reservoir for improved cooling. Hose & tube routings are accessible and yet well protected to prevent accidental damage. Trimble ready option is available on factory build orders.

 
CAB - OPERATOR STATION & CONTROLS
The TD-8S has been designed to ensure the operator can maximize productivity. For optimal visibility, enlarged side door windows and a sloped engine hood allows for a better view of the blade front and corners. Tinted glazing reduces glare, and the machines feature a sun visor, and both an inside rear view mirror and external side mirrors to provide all round visibility of the machine. An all new cab is designed to provide 30% more space, and FOPS and 2-post ROPS ensure maximum safety. 

Numerous features within the dozers mean the operator is able to perform efficiently and effectively. A new high resolution 16” LCD display screen provides real-time system values for temperatures, pressures and forward/reverse direction shift & ground-speed ranges.

Two ergonomic joysticks ensure smooth controllability: a left-hand joystick with control buttons and switches for steering, and a right-hand joystick for mounted equipment. An eco-mode feature, enhances fuel efficiency without sacrificing productivity. S-Series dozers are available with integrated technology options such as Trimble Ready base and full Trimble 3D control systems. 

All these features combine to make the hydrostatic TD-8S LT compact crawler dozers the optimal choice for a wide range of end users and applications. S-Series dozers are engineered to optimize versatility, controllability, and finish grade accuracy.


ROBUST FRAME AND UNDERCARIAGE
Undercarriages feature a standard lubricated track system (LTS) and split link track chains to reduce installation and removal times. All models feature pivot shaft installed suspension for final drive protection and hydraulic track adjusters for extending track chain life.

The new DRESSTA ‘S Series’ hydrostatic compact crawler dozers – the TD-9S LT is equipped with Rexroth dual path hydrostatic drive systems that transmit full power to both tracks in all conditions to ensure smooth speed changes, pivot turns and counter rotation – improving on site manoeuvrability even when working on confined jobsites. All these features combine to ensure optimised productivity and ease of operation.

The Cummins 3.8 litre Quantum series engine combines proven electronic controls and is equipped with a DEF after-treatment. With impressive performance and extended service intervals, owning and operating costs are fully optimized.

The TD-10R XP dozer features extra power and a blade capacity of up to 3.1m³ (4.05yd³), setting the standards for others to follow and a direct result of DRESSTA’s experience in designing highly efficient and productive Crawler Dozers.

Design concepts featuring on the TD-10R XP include the optimisation of weight distribution, modular construction, a one-piece main frame, single stage planetary Steering Drive and a rigid track mounting system. Optimal performance is achieved when machine weight is matched to power and the TD-10R XP provides a second-to-none balance of weight for traction and power for unrivalled drawbar pull.
